    Plaster Trap

    The Simcraft Plaster Trap is a filtered drainage unit designed for use where waste water needs to be filtered to remove solid particles before the water enters the plumbing, such as medical facilities, laboratories or art rooms. The cylindrical body of the unit is handcrafted from 304 stainless steel, and features a stainless steel outlet (with copper connection included) as well as a puddle flange around the top on the outside to effectively contain water. The unit is supplied with a removable silt bucket which is perforated around the top section; when dirty water enters the unit, any solid waste particles settle in the bottom of the bucket whilst the cleaned water is allowed to overflow through the top of the bucket and down to the outlet. The bucket can then be removed so the collected waste can be disposed of separately.

The unit is hand-crafted from 316 grade stainless steel, and features a flushable bowl design and in-built P-trap or S-trap allowing for immediate removal of any waste placed into the unit. The unit features a removable hinged grate for support and storage, and can be manufactured in floor-mounted or wall-hung configurations. Ideal for medical facilities or laboratories.

Designed to ensure compliance with Australian accessibility standards, the trough’s design features full accessibility for wheelchair users while maintaining the ability to service high-traffic applications. The unit comes pre-plumbed as standard with bubblers (jug filler optional) and includes chiller unit tested to ensure cold water delivery which stands up to hot Australian days. All fittings certified lead-free. Can be supplied in wall-hung configuration (with heavy duty brackets and supporting legs if required) or with full reinforced stainless steel frame with adjustable feet.
